Privacy
We keep almost nothing. Here is the whole of it.
Claridas News is a static website. It has no accounts, no login, and no server that stores what you read. The pages you see are plain files. This policy states exactly what happens when you visit. Last updated August 11, 2026.
We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal detail. We set no advertising cookies. We do not track you across other sites. We do not build a profile of you. We do not sell or share data about you, because we do not hold any.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless. It records no personal data and does not follow you between sites. It tells us which pages are read, not who read them. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Our Local section can show news near you. To do that, your browser may ask for your location. You choose whether to allow it. If you allow it, the coordinates stay on your device, in your browser's local storage, under the key claridas_loc. They are never sent to us. You can clear them any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, and the Local section still works without them.
Any ad on this site is chosen by the page's topic, not by you. Ads carry no behavioral tracking and no personal data. Sensitive and corrected articles carry no ads at all.
Some articles also link to a product or service through an affiliate link. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never affects what we cover or recommend. See our full Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and block abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
We link to primary sources so you can check our work. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This policy covers only Claridas News.
